This kayaking trip starts at famous Hampden Bridge the oldest suspension bridge in Australia. Paddle the 5km to Bendeela picnic area testing your skills on 6 small rapids along the way, this is one of the prettiest sections of the river, the habitat of Rock Wallabies, Wombats, Water Dragons and the Lyrebird.
We will pre arrange a pick up time for your return to our office and car park in one of our shuttle buses.

The Details

Trip 2: Bendeela and Beyond
Another great day trip. Starting at Bendeela Recreation and Camping Area, take as long as you like to appreciate this still-water trip into Morton National Park. Meander through the habitat of our famous Kangaroo Valley Wildlife, Kangaroos, Birdlife, Lizards and later in the day Wombats, even Platypus if you are very lucky.
Take your camera, picnic and Bass fishing gear. We look after delivery and pick up of canoes and kayaks.

Great couple of hours canoeing. And very professional and friendly service. My wife and I did the 2 hour paddle trip. Was quite easy which was great for us. Very peaceful on the river. We will be back for sure.
UPDATE... Returned 2 months later with 3 mates to do the 2 day Bendeela to Tallowa Dam paddle. Great trip and well organised by KVS. We will be back again for sure.

Kvs were excellent. Sent us on our way with excellent instructions (no capsizing here) and we had the canoes after lunch as well so we got a full day. Only 20 minutes to wait for the bus to take us back. Seriously awesome day

Would definitely recommend a Kayak ride down the river with Kangeroo Valley Safaris! The team were lovely and explained everything to us before we started. The activity was peaceful and self guided, with a few rapids for a bit of excitement. The views up the river were gorgeous - we loved it!
