Canoe for two
Really beautiful canoe spot, relaxing and scenic. The ‘rapids’ are very manageable and all canoes were in good shape, enough room to take an esky and relax. Good swimming spots located the entire way up the river.

Trip 5 : Wildlife of Bendeela & Beyond
Another great day trip. Starting at Bendeela picnic area, take as long as you like to appreciate this flat-water trip into Morton National Park. Meander through the habitat of our famous wildlife, Kangaroos, Birdlife, Lizards and later in the day Wombats, even Platypus if you are very lucky.
Take your camera and Bass fishing gear. We look after delivery and pick up of canoes and kayaks.

The Details
Trip 4 : Hampden Bridge to Bendeela
This trip starts at famous Hampden Bridge the oldest suspension bridge in Australia. Paddle the 5km to Bendeela picnic area testing your skills on 6 small rapids along the way, this is one of the prettiest sections of the river, the habitat of Rock Wallabies, Wombats, Water Dragons and the Lyrebird.
We will pre arrange a pick up time for your return to our office and car park in one of our shuttle buses.

Trip 2 : Shoalhaven Gorge
A twenty-minute shuttle in one of our buses to Tallowa Dam, then a 3 hour paddle into the spectacular Shoalhaven Gorge which is recognised as one of the most scenic flat water paddles in Australia, especially after rain with many waterfalls coming over the majestic sandstone cliffs.
Campsites are limited around the Fossickers Flat area and beyond to Canoe Flat so get here early for our 9am Bus out to the Dam. Enjoy the peace, no roads, no powerboats, just the noise of the birds to wake you up in the morning.
DAY 2 Return to Tallowa Dam. Allow 3 hours enjoy lunch on the banks along the way. We will meet you for your return bus to our base.

The Details
Trip 1 : Bendeela to Tallowa Dam
A five-minute shuttle in one of our buses to the start point at Bendeela. Allow a 3 hour leisurely paddle into Morton National Park to the where you will find numerous lovely camping areas around Acacia flat and Beehive Point.
Arrive at our base anytime from 8.30am to late morning.
Abundant with wildlife, watch for Kangaroos, Wallabies, harmless Water Dragons, bird life including Wedgetail and Sea Eagles, Wombats later in the day and if you are very lucky you might spot a Platypus. Take a late afternoon paddle and explore the drowned forest of Yarrunga Creek. A special spot to see.
Day 2
An easy 3-hour paddle to Tallowa Dam, along the way explore the delights of Bundanoon and Sandy Creeks, great stops for lunch. We will meet you at the Dam for return Bus shuttle.
Good fishing along the way so bring a Rod.
